Hereafter Elite Limousines shall be known as the Company and the person(s) renting the vehicle shall be known as The Hirer/Renter. It will be deemed that the Hirer, making the booking, accepts responsibility by himself/herself for every person travelling in the vehicle and fully agrees to the conditions of hire as follows:-
1. All car hire must be reserved in advance and a deposit paid at the time of the booking. No reservation can be confirmed until such deposit has been paid. Details of the Hirer credit/debit card must be held on account from the time of booking. The Hirer here agrees that any fees due as a result of cancellations, damages or overrun as per the clauses below, maybe charged to this card, without further notice. The balance payment for the vehicle must be made in full in cash at the start of the hire.
2. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer any deposits paid will be forfeited. We do not offer the facility to transfer your hire to another date; this constitutes cancellation, and will be dealt with accordingly.
3. In the event of such cancellation the following charges will apply, notice required for full credit on balance (ie amount due after deposit) 8 weeks prior to hire date, notice required for 50% credit on balance due 4 weeks prior to hire date. If cancellation occurs within 4 weeks prior to hire 100% of the balance due is payable. If only a deposit has been paid and a cancellation is made by the Hirer, the Hirer will be liable to pay any balance outstanding and here agrees that this may be debited from his/her credit/debit card without further notice. Please note that in the event that a vehicle is delayed for whatsoever reason, on collection, return on any intermediate journeys, the full hire fees and terms will still apply, unless the company can not provide the hirer with the vehicle/a replacement vehicle within 2 hours of the agreed times. We understand that from time to time events happen outside of your control that despite best intensions may cause you to need to cancel your contract with us, for example illness/injury/bereavement etc. However please note that these cancellation terms will still apply in such circumstances, and we recommend that if you have any concerns that you seek advice from a insurance broker for “Event Insurance” this can be purchase from an insurance specialist to mitigate you against any potential losses, if illness/injury/a bereavement etc was to happen to you or a member of your party at anytime up to and including your day of hire.
4. The Hirer shall be responsible for the proper behaviour of all the passengers and shall be primarily responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle howsoever caused. It is an express condition of the Hire that the Hirer accepts this responsibility. The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle by the Hirer or a member of his or her Party, howsoever caused. This includes incitement or behaviour resulting in damage to the vehicle or its contents by a third party. The Hirer expressly agrees to be held liable for the retail cost of any repair as a consequence of any damage caused. The Hirer further agrees that the Company may at its entire discretion determine the organisation that will affect the repairs. Furthermore, the Hirer shall be responsible for payment of a fixed rate, which shall be determined by the Company, at its sole discretion for the period during which the vehicle cannot be used as a consequence of said damage and repairs. That notwithstanding, the Hirer shall also be responsible for any further losses which are incurred as a result of lost bookings. The Hirer holds the Company harmless of any liability for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his or her party. The Company shall not be held liable or responsible for any articles left in the vehicle, or any harm caused to passengers by any of the items/facilities available to be used in the limousines, the Hirer specifically indemnifies the Company from any such responsibility and undertakes to advise all other persons in his or her party. All items must be removed from the limousine at the end of the hire, and at the end of any intermediate journey. No items can be left unattended in the vehicle at any time. Any lost property is the Hirer’s responsibility to recover, including any cost of recovery.
5. The Company undertakes all measures to ensure vehicles are properly serviced and maintained. However the company will not accept responsibility for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown howsoever caused, or for any loss suffered in consequence. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown every effort will be made for an immediate repair to the vehicle or to supply a replacement vehicle of the same passenger capacity. The Company will not accept any responsibility for any loss as a result of a breakdown or accept any responsibility of loss by the Hirer as a result of their being unable to for fill contracts with third parties. Please note clause 3, will still be applied in the event of a breakdown. No compensation or cancellation will be accepted within the first 2 hours of any delay.
6. In the event of a breakdown or accident prior to the date of the car hire. Every effort will be made to supply a similar or alternative vehicle(s) if this is not possible a refund of monies paid will be made.
7. The Company reserves the right at any time to change, replace, or renew the vehicles rented or advertised in order to maintain the Company’s high standards. Photo's on this website, are provided to show typical examples of limousines that we have on our fleet, not all limousines are displayed.
8. The Company will levy a valeting charge of £150 through misuse from drink, food, illness and other soiling or whatever the retail cost may be, including any loss of hire while the vehicle is being cleaned/repaired. This is applicable to both interior or exterior of our vehicles. Furthermore a charge of £25 maybe made for the removal of excess rubbish from the vehicle.
9. Any changes to the hire details given at the time of booking will only be made if these changes can be accommodated at the time of the request. No changes maybe made on the day of hire. Any additional pick ups and or drop offs must be arranged in advance, these will be charged from £10.00 per pick up/drop off starting within a 3 mile radius of the main drop. Any overtime due to overrun on the Hirer’s part will be payable on account, and the Hirer here agrees that this can be deducted from their credit/debit card without further notice. Overtime will be charged at £100 per hour. This is still applicable in cases where overrun, represents part of an hour.
10. Under no circumstances will alcohol be consumed in the vehicle/s by persons under 18 years of age. All parties where under 18’s are travelling are required to be accompanied by an Adult.
11. We will endeavour to provide the vehicle requested by you. In the unlikely event that we are unable to do so we reserve the right to provide a substitute vehicle of similar type and capacity. We can request a preferred vehicle colour for you but cannot guarantee a colour.
12 The Hirer is responsible for any glassware breakages at £10.00 per glass, the understands that use of glassware, bubbly and other such facilities on board the limousine, is undertaken at the Hirer and their parties own risk.
13 All our vehicles are NON-SMOKING. A charge of £50.00 will be made for refreshing vehicles, which are returned smelling of smoke.
14 The consumption of food/food products are not permitted inside the vehicle.
15 The company reserves the right to terminate any hire, where our terms and conditions have been broken, in such cases no refunds will be given and further charges may be made depending upon the circumstances.
16 The company takes very seriously the welfare of its drivers; any physical or verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in the termination of your hire immediately with no refund.
17 Please note that the supply of Bubbly and/or Soft Drinks, is provided with the compliments of the company on request, at the time of booking. Furthermore on sporting events the use and supply of Gazebo's, Tables and Chairs are supplied complimentary, on request. The company accepts no liability in the event of any issues arising from the consumption and use of these complimentary items.
18 The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the details provided on your “Booking Confirmation” meets your requirements and in fully accurate, as this, subject to the terms here written, forms your contract with us. No additional services will be provided within the price detailed. Please note it is also the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all pick up/drop off & destination addresses, are given in full including postcodes etc 48 hours prior to your hire, we can not be held responsible for delays, errors or incomplete journeys where this information has not been provided.
The Company’s discretion shall be decided by the proprietors and authorised agents of the company at all times and their decisions be fully binding in all matters. Payment in of a deposit for the hire of one of our limousines and/or commencing a hire with the company, will constitute your full agreement to these terms & conditions of hire.
